Leveling &

Positioning.

Hydraulic jacking enables precise leveling and repositioning of buildings, bridges, and heavy equipment, safely correcting settlement or alignment issues while preserving structural integrity.

Load Transfer

Solutions.

Hydraulic jacking enables controlled load transfer for beam replacement, underpinning, and foundation reinforcement, lifting structures so new supports can be installed and safely reloaded.

Data Analysis.

Our statistical expertise applies trend analysis, control charts, and regression to load and pressure data, detecting deviations and refining system parameters for improved lift accuracy.

When a structure has to stay in service, the lift can't be improvised - it has to be engineered. Our in-house team models the load paths, sets the allowable movement and stress limits, and plans the jacking around the building's real geometry, captured by our own scan and design crews before any work begins. The same people who engineer the lift fabricate the steel and execute it in the field. That single chain of accountability, from analysis to installation, is why consultants and owners trust us with structures that can't afford a misstep.

  • Engineered, Not Improvised: Load paths, support reactions, and movement limits modeled in-house.

  • Built on Real Geometry: Lift plans developed against scan-verified site conditions - no guesswork .

  • Designed to Stay in Service: Sequencing that keeps facilities operating through the repair, with minimal disruption.

  • One Accountable Team: The engineers who plan the lift fabricate the steel and run it in the field - one chain of responsibility.

Retrofit & Fit-out.

We execute structural modifications and architectural steel installation within constrained operating environments. Success in retrofit scenarios relies on precision; we mitigate fit-up risk by integrating our in-house Engineering and 3D Scanning capabilities - We capture existing site geometry and overlay proposed steelwork to identify spatial conflicts. This "digital trial assembly" ensures connection logic is valid and fabrication tolerances match site reality.

  • Structural Modifications: Installation of transfer beams, trimming steel for new slab penetrations (stairs, elevators, MEP shafts), and framing for rooftop additions or vertical expansions.

  • AESS & Feature Steel: Fabrication and erection of high-finish steelwork.

  • Process Versatility: Strategic selection of welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, MCAW, GMAW, GTAW) based on ventilation limits, fire risk, and positional access.

  • Load Transfer: Coordination of steel installation with temporary shoring and jacking sequences.

  • Site Engineering: Rapid resolution of field clashes and connection redesigns by our in-house engineering team.

In-situ Repairs.

Building Repair

We collaborate with Consultants and Owners to execute repair strategies that accommodate limited access and tight schedules, delivering fabrication and erection solutions that extend asset life with minimal intervention.

  • Corrosion Remediation: Section replacement, cover plating, and web/flange splice repairs.

  • Structural Strengthening: Reinforcement of beams, columns, and trusses for updated load requirements.

  • Impact Repair: Rectification of vehicle or equipment damage in active facilities (warehouses, parking structures).

  • Connection Retrofits: Remediation of compromised moment and shear connections.

  • Limited Access Erection: Specialized material handling for basements, rooftops, and confined spaces.

  • Integrated Sequencing: Coordination of steel repairs with temporary shoring and unloading procedures.

Rebar Welding (CSA W186)

Managed by our in-house CWB W186 Certified Welding Engineer, we execute structural rebar welding for complex retrofits and seismic upgrades. Our internal engineering capability allows for rapid procedure development and technical resolutions, eliminating reliance on external approvals for non-standard conditions.

We specialize in the metallurgical evaluation of existing reinforcement, addressing the specific risks associated with legacy or "non-weldable" steel. Through chemical analysis and custom procedure qualification, we validate connections for rebar with high carbon equivalents or unknown material properties.

  • Metallurgical Assessment: Carbon equivalent (CE) calculation and weldability determinations.

  • Procedure Design: Development of welding procedures for weldable and non-standard grades.

  • Direct Butt Splices: Complete Joint Penetration (CJP) welds for axial load transfer in congested zones.

  • Indirect Splices: Lap splicing using structural angles or plates for retrofit connections.

  • Cross-Bar Welding: Prefabrication of complex cages and mats for accelerated installation.
