Replacement of highrise building columns while maintaining building operations.
A multi-storey occupied structure required full column replacement while remaining operational. Using our integrated workflow, we captured the as-built geometry through a combination of LiDAR and GPR scanning, designed a highly novel repair approach modeled directly atop the 3D scan, fabricated modular jacking brackets in-house, and executed a synchronous hydraulic lift - all with zero interference to building operations and sub-millimeter precision throughout.
